Then I started to grow up and I slowly forgot about that little dream of having a real lightsaber of my very own. Then one night a few years back I was online browsing – I’m pretty sure it was some kind of forum and found a link to what somebody said was an incredibly realistic lightsaber. All it took was a 30 second video and I was hooked. Somebody had finally taken the time to go out and build a lightsaber that looked, felt and sounded just like the real thing – the name of this wonderful device – the Force FX lightsaber.

There was finally a “toy” that made my dreams of owning a real lightsaber a reality. Ok I’m much older now (in my 30s to be exact) but the thrill of picking up that replica lightsaber for the first time is something that you can’t explain in words – you have to experience it for yourself. These are more than just lightsaber replicas they help make you part of the Star Wars Universe in a way that only a true fan can understand.
